Common questions about Blood Connect. For deeper troubleshooting, see the getting started guide or email support.
Open /register on the web app, or Sign Up in the mobile app. You can register with email or phone depending on the flow enabled for your region.
Use Forgot Password on the login page. Reset emails are sent from the Blood Connect / Bloodlinks mailer. If nothing arrives, check spam and contact support@bloodlinks.org.
Access tokens expire by design. The app should refresh them automatically. If refresh fails, sign in again. Check device date/time if sessions fail immediately.
Use /donor/centers or /nearby on web, or the map / centers screens in the mobile app.
Open /donor/schedule, pick an available slot at a center, and confirm. You can review history later at /donor/history.
Complete the digital health screening before donation. The product follows WHO-oriented eligibility checks; final clinical clearance is always at the donation site.
Hospital staff create requests in /hospital/requests after their organization is approved. Donors primarily respond to alerts rather than creating hospital inventory requests.
Eligible donors may receive push, SMS, email, USSD, or IVR depending on preferences and regional channel configuration.
Confirm notification preferences in donor settings, check OS notification permissions on mobile, and verify your phone number. SMS/USSD depend on provider configuration.
See the Privacy Policy at /privacy. For data rights or deletion requests, email privacy@bloodlinks.org or use in-app account deletion where available.
The public product docs do not claim HIPAA certification. The platform implements consent, access control, and audit tooling appropriate for its African market focus (including Angola Lei n.ยบ 22/11 context on mobile listings).
